Revised AltGr keyboard layout

  • Diaëreses and umlaute are located on the respective vowels
  • Circumflex is always directly above the respective vowel
  • The grave and acute accents are always next to each other (in that order)
  • At least one of the grave and acute accents is usually adjacent to the respective letter (or circumflexed letter)
    • except for the ugrave and uacute, which are at , and .; and
    • for igrave and iacute, which are not accounted for
  • The layout is optimised for easy typing and remembering (accounting for glyphs and sound)
